I've been working in Thought Industries since 2014, and I've never really left. I started as a customer, joined the company as its twelfth employee, became a customer again, and since 2021 I've spent most of my days inside my clients' instances helping them get more out of the platform. That last stretch has been the best of the lot.
Along the way I've seen this platform from every angle. If it's possible in Thought Industries, I've done it, usually from more than one side of the table. I still have a close relationship with the team there and talk with them regularly, so when you bring me a question, I either know the answer or know who does.
Customer, B2C
Migrated eight online schools from Blackboard onto Thought Industries and grew them into more than $30MM in sales. On-demand, blended, subscriptions, and microlearning, all sold straight to consumers through the platform's built-in ecommerce.
Director of Customer Success, employee #12
Ran the Onboarding, Support, and Customer Success teams. Advised the largest clients on eLearning business strategy, instance configuration and integrations, front-end pages, and course design.
Customer again, B2B
Grew a B2B learning business with courses, learning journeys, certifications, microlearning, external integrations, internal automations, and a Panorama for every client.
Independent, inside client instances
Most of my clients run Thought Industries. They range from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies. Some sell learning to consumers, some to other businesses, and some use it to develop their own people.
Every one of those years taught me how to push this platform to its limits, which is why the most common phrase I hear is:
And I love it! This platform can do so much more than most teams ever ask of it. Helping a client discover that, then watching their learning business take off because of it, is the best part of this work.
